So it’s a bit like installing efficient emission controls at a single point of discharge (power stations) and then monitoring that point for compliance and upgrades rather than trying to control the emissions at many multiple individual outputs (tailpipes) where of course each individual owner will continue to maintain and service and upgrade those emission controls.
Of course overtime those single points of emissions (power stations) are also being replaced with alternative power sources (eg rooftop solar, hydro with hydro storage, wind, thermal etc etc) - is the same being done for each individual ICE car? Oh yeah, that’s right, that’s called an EV…
Hmm …. I think someone thought they had a bigger picture view but is actually missing the real bigger picture.
