Question as to why it wasn't the last year or year before considering the limited new information on DEP program and reality of how the market and investors saw the management? I have to say most takeovers happen upon success before value is appreciated by wider market not on failure unless there is a specific tool, device, patent process etc that another company wants and most simply don't want a whole company they only want the bit they need to progress their own chemical. tool, device etc. They don't want complication of takeover of a publicly listed company. So JF was on her way out , dropping from index etc etc and a smart company didn't approach and use that to their advantage and it would have also given her a way out possibly with a interest in a bigger company if it was a scrip bid ?
Most shareholders would IMO been happy at any value to have a offer to have different management look into all the grannies and keep some diminished interest and upside rather than ride it to a $50 mill market cap?
So next question is what SPL has is so rare, so beneficial and so necessary why hasn't it been Lic out etc etc Not like it is expensive to get SPL to do the groundwork for you or for your own staff to do starter projects as feasibility studies in house. Why do one progress?e
