I think most have been thinking in terms of months, not years when reading into prior communications when it comes to future deals. Having said that, NW did mention deals (in the plural) so perhaps it means that timeframe for deals in most territories to be done with some sooner than others (with a focus on US and China). Whatever the case may be, in the scheme of things, with potential readout of part 2/phase 3 mid next year, it isn't a long time to wait for investors for the right deals.
