don't think this a so good today, what is says to me is that they can't flog it to the big pharma and any partnership aren't really interested, so a sort of go it alone. Have been think for sometime, for SPL to fund their own trails...and would not this be an avenue to do that, to new company to announcemtn in house trial ? and raise the fund via them as we can't do it.

as col said it sounds a bit like starting over again, didn't read into the detail of will the new compnay be listed?
With IPOs it take years to be financially positive with a product to market, if ever they get one to turn a profit

new CEO get preforming rights with a deal done? even thought we don't see any of that money as owners.... hmmm , something i have always dislike... why pay bonus when they are already paid a huge amount to do their jobs, not get bonuses without returns to shareholders.

suppose its a sort of way to raise capital to pay huge wages, and for the new CEO of the other company.
new year they will offer to us shareholder to right to buy shares in the new company, or free options, now that would be a chnage too
