I believe it would be really foolish of GG to lend his shares. I highly doubt that he is Lending them. Lending shares seems very lucrative on the surface but there is a risk of losing his shares if the borrower fails to return the securities. This is called as "Default Risk". It's rare but does happen.
So I would caution folks against lending.
