I'd think it would be cheaper to get gas from PEP11 through a pipeline than ship it using that new terminal near Newcastle. I think it was Newcastle, wasn't it? And, after all, we are talking here permit for exploration, not for drilling. So, yeah, let's hope it will all work out.

Yes.. and what about industry? looking at a fraction of companies that use gas EnergyAustralia, Incitec Pivot Limited, QenosBrickworks Limited, BlueScope Steel, Bega Cheese ... are they going to magically start using wind farms and solar panels ... lol
