To add to that Stevie this stuff is very important as we can identify fast trades quickly by having the information regarding what stocks have gapped open.
Trick is to work out very quickly is it a take profits moment or is the stock off on a run as was the case for IMU in this instance.
Understanding what the new demand is can be so important because you may have taken profits on the open due to how the pre was setting up and if demand keeps flooding then you need to get back in. An “oops” moment.
But 8 out of 10 instances you can get your position back later in the morning and the open was just a test of demand/ supply.
Hence the need for accuracy but isn’t there always?
