This is my pitch to my fellowshareholders of Andromeda Metals.
I am pleased to inform youthat I have nominated as a candidate for the role of Non-Executive Director. Asa long-term and large shareholder of Andromeda Metals, I am deeply invested inthe success of our company. With over three decades of experience in lawenforcement, culminating in senior leadership roles, I bring a unique set ofskills and experiences that I believe will be instrumental in driving ourcompany forward. I would like to share with you my vision for Andromeda Metalsand how I plan to add value in the areas of Corporate Governance, StrategicPlanning, ESG compliance, Ethical Leadership, and Performance Management.
CorporateGovernance
My 32 years with VictoriaPolice, including my role as Detective Acting Senior Sergeant, has ingrained inme a deep understanding of the importance of strong governance structures. Iled a specialised unit (Sex Offence & Child Abuse) tasked withinvestigating sensitive and complex cases, where ensuring adherence to strictprotocols and maintaining accountability was paramount. As a Non-ExecutiveDirector, I will advocate for robust governance practices that ensuretransparency, integrity, and the protection of shareholder interests. Myexperience in overseeing high-stakes investigations has equipped me with theskills to scrutinise decisions critically and to uphold the highest standardsof corporate governance.
StrategicPlanning
Throughout my career, I havebeen responsible for developing and implementing strategies to tackle some ofthe most challenging issues within our community. Leading a team of over 30investigators, I honed my ability to think strategically, plan effectively, andexecute with precision. In my tenure with the Ethical/Professional StandardsCommand, I was involved in shaping policies that had far-reaching implicationsfor the organisation. As a member of Andromeda Metals’ board, I will bring thisstrategic mindset to help guide our company through the complexities of themining and resources sector, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term valuecreation for our shareholders.
ESGCompliance
Environmental, Social, andGovernance (ESG) considerations are no longer optional—they are essential forthe sustainability and success of any company. My career in law enforcement wasnot just about enforcing the law; it was about serving the community andupholding ethical standards. I am committed to ensuring that Andromeda Metalsnot only meets but exceeds its ESG obligations. I will work closely with theboard to ensure that our operations are environmentally responsible, sociallyinclusive, and governed by principles that reflect our commitment to ethicalpractices. My background in ethical investigations will provide a strongfoundation for upholding the values that our company stands for.
EthicalLeadership
Ethical leadership is at thecore of who I am. During my time with the Ethical/Professional StandardsCommand, I was responsible for investigating fellow police members, a role thatrequired unwavering integrity, impartiality, and a strong moral compass. Iunderstand the importance of leading by example and fostering a culture ofethical behaviour. As a Non-Executive Director, I will be a staunch advocatefor ethical leadership practices within Andromeda Metals, ensuring that everydecision we make is guided by our commitment to doing what is right, not justwhat is profitable.
PerformanceManagement
I have a proven track recordof performance management, both in rewarding high standards and addressingunder-performance. During my tenure with Victoria Police, I regularly nominatedmembers of my team for Commendation awards in recognition of their exceptionalwork. At the same time, I managed under-performance with a strict adherence toVictoria Police policies and procedures. My approach to performance managementwas not only effective but also withstood the scrutiny of several reviews. Thisexperience has taught me the importance of balancing recognition withaccountability, a philosophy I will bring to Andromeda Metals to ensure that wemaintain a high-performing, motivated team.
PersonalCommitment
On a personal note, I havebeen married to my wife Sandra for 15 years, and together we have raised afamily that values service to others. Our children have chosen careers infields that contribute to the well-being and safety of our community—areflection of the values we hold dear. My eldest is a Combat Engineer in theAustralian Army, and my youngest is a Paramedic with the NSW Ambulance Service.Sandra, a qualified Journalist, currently works in Media and Communications fora local council, demonstrating our shared commitment to public service. Her twochildren work as a chef and as a personal trainer.
Beyond my professional life, Iam committed to giving back to the community. I travel overseas once a year toperform volunteer work at a food kitchen in Vietnam and donate plasma to RedCross Lifeblood every fortnight. I have raised funds for several medicallyrelated organizations through participating in six 'Murray to Moyne' bikerides, (covering 520 kilometres in one day), and three Red Cross Murray Rivercanoe marathons, (spanning 404 kilometres over five days). Additionally, I havecompleted two Ultra marathons, one of which concluded on the summit of Mt.Buller in Victoria. These experiences have shaped my worldview and mydedication to striving for success, making me well-suited to contribute to theboard of Andromeda Metals.

As a long-term and largeshareholder, I have a vested interest in the success of Andromeda Metals. Mypassion for this company is deeply personal, and I am committed to driving ittowards greater achievements. I believe that by aligning the interests ofshareholders with strong governance, strategic foresight, and ethicalpractices, we can unlock the full potential of Andromeda Metals and ensure itssuccess for years to come.
