A balanced examination would involve the analysis of previous track record.

It is this input that has shaped the sentiment of many of the current shareholders.

I now remain extremely skeptical of any and all announcements made to market from SPL, because the track record of delivering on the lofty promises made in previous announcements has not been great.

Take for example the company commercial objective that was in place under the great Jackie Fairley 'Create value through clinical proof-of concept in one or more cancer types –alone and/or in combination. License following proof-of-concept clinical data; platform validation.'

For over a decade this was the commercial objective. We all bought shares because this is what we were led to believe was what the company was aiming for.

Here we are now over a year since proof of concept was achieved, and what do we have? A company that is now promoting a completely new line of products in a different space to the oncology arm. So we are back to square one, with NO explanation as to why the companys commercial objective has failed to be achieved.....

So I am sorry if I am skeptical with anything that is promised in announcements made by SPL.

I fail to see how any long term holder could maintain any kind of realistic optimism in this company.

PS I still hold shares, and I will not sell. I use this company as my lesson learned, and as such I have copped my losses on the chin.
