If you think Monsanto and Merck are going to go along with SPL for the ride and then steal their markets you are mistaken.
I asked Ben from SPL before whether there was a conflict of interest with Merck and SPL as they were both working on a drug to produce a similar effect and he said no.
IMO I would look at all the players carefully and dont trust a company that relies on handouts and could easily be taken over.
I was holding SPL for the promised royalties this year but hey that all fell over didnt it.
