my interpretation is that the reported grade was across a 5 m sample length - 'composite' (i.e. course analysis). Greater precision would be reported through 1 m sample lengths with the gold grade potentially restricted to a narrower section. If this is so the gold grade could be substantially higher.
greater definition in where the gold is and how much is certainly important information.
