In their recent presentation, WHL stressed that they have transformed into "an oil and gas explorer and Operator". Could they have purposely spelt operator with a capital O to place an emphasis on that word?

According to their graph- WHL Energy's Growth- they had a Share Placement at 2.2 cps to fund aquisition & seismic commitments in Dec 2010 after they acquired the Seychelles acreage. The second Share Placement of 3.2 cps finalises acquisition & recapitalises company was in May 2011.

They have been accessing opportunities that we only hear about after they have been successful. IMO their team is well connected in this area. Apart from Seychelles, their strategy is to diversify and grow their portfolio. They will need funds to do this. We don't really know everything they are doing in this area and prob won't until it is secured.

All I know is that what began with one huge opportunity (Seychelles) is now blossoming into several large opportunities for WHL. Who knows what else they will pull out of the hat?

To be able to keep progressing in this manner, they will need funds so they can take advantage of what is available to them when that opportunity arises. They have improved their team and seem to building themselves into a recognised O & G Company.

Networking, publicity, lawyers, travel, research, hr, presentations are all necessary as well as what needs to be done to prove whats underground and how to get it out. You can't be a big company without money behind you.

This all comes from a non oil and gas person's perspective & hope you get what I'm trying to say. Good luck WHL. I'll hang in there because I love pleasant surprises.
