I presume that you are inferring that there is some insider trading going down here?
I would not like to speculate on that and prefer to think that the recent price action is just another example of someone smarter than the rest of us taking advantage of what is known & expected and is trading accordingly in the same way as they have done in the past.
If I add up the volume from the 21st to the 28th Feb (3,786,560) when the sp was being supported & accumulated in the lower half of the trading range.
Then compare that to the volume that was traded in the upper half of the range from the 3 - 9 Mar (3,253,38) I just assume (perhaps falsely) that whomever bought at the lows sold them at the highs and is now preparing to re-accumulate (1,364,820 so far) at the lows again.
