Seriously though so many people expose themselves to radiation daily ...

Bananas, microvaves, cell phones, computers, TV's etc etc etc...

...and don't change their habits.

Yet the very same people protest about uranium mining and nuclear power.

No doubt the this NRC posting on the Strata Energy section will be brought up in the permitting process I feel very sure.
