The last point (about IOU knowing their market) really resonates with me, especially given all the panic merchants on here post the Pine Labs announcement.

Competition is fine, indeed it’s healthy. It drives innovation and keeps complacency away.

But remember, these guys don’t know the market the way IOU and their suite of ex-iPay88 employees do. They need to build it up and it takes time, money, and mistakes. IOU have already got the existing transactions, relationships, and market know-how.
