For those that are worried about the share price not reflecting the work that is going on can get some solace from this; Same thing happened with Amazon when Jeff Bezos was building his company the share price didn't react to how the business was going. Even though Jeff knew things were progressing he'd see a sea of red and mass selloff for no reason.
Jeff decided there and then to ignore the shareprice and just get on with building his company knowing that the market valuation would eventually work itself out.
Amazon started on the Nasdaq with an IPO of $18 on 15th May 1997.
Funnily enough, if one invested just $10,000 in shares on the opening day, they'd be worth a staggering $12 million today!
Let that sink in.
