Subtle. Do you honestly think people are solely exposed to one form of credit/debt when they "switch" to BNPL? Hell no, they have mortgages, personal loans, credit cards and whatever else compounded to it and BNPL is just another way to add to it. There's no hypocrisy there is no comparison, debt is debt. Millennials are probably the most at risk in this situation, Gen Z have the advantage of being able to choose BNPL first over a traditional CC.

BNPL isn't some revolutionary "screw the banks" support the little guy system. It's the same shit wrapped up different and the banks want in because it's a cash cow. I'm still holding but the sanctimonious act is what's laughable.
