You make some really good points and its this sort of analysis (along with some others) that have made me feel more comfortable about this acquisition. Since the deal with ISDB was announced i've struggling to work out how this partnership will work practically and I know this question will probably be answered during the next operational update. Although the release did say both companies will operate independently, I'm interested to know if this partnership is just the foundation of a much larger plan. I wonder if IOU have plans to launch a product similar to the rumoured 'Money by Afterpay' app that allows a user to have their pay deposited straight into an account on the app that has access to both short term (IOU) and long term (ISDB) credit options in the one app. This makes sense to me because it could play apart of a much greater relationship with a banking partner and allow the bank to capture the underbanked and unbanked population through fine tech innovation.
