imo, part of the IDSB deal was to get access to a pool of public servants on stable income. I am a public servant and trust me, banks have thrown money at me in the past; now mid 40s and we're mortgage free...even more so with one of my banks calling me the other month offering a great loan. we don't need it. i have many colleagues that use afterpay a lot, so getting into the realm of a group of stable employees, iou can have a more trusted level of income that can also capitalize on its marketing and to help filter out into the general population. it's an alternative strategy, but one I'm interested in seeing how it plays out. still imo, all these companies need an edge to push them forward; to make them the 'go to'. market sentiment plays a huge part...after all, do you get a tissue or a kleenex? any other brands come to mind?
