regulation really stopped credit card debt and poor lending practices by the big 4 banks didn’t it.

BNPL isnt the issue at $2000/$3000 it’s the 15k credit cards.

Big banks getting there pals in government to assist them in beating down the BNPL industry.

regardless - I think it’s a good thing, most BNPL companies in Australia have done a good job at self regulation as the stock price is hammered on bad debts due to the small margins on micro loans.

kinda validates the whole industry - if you are being regulated they don’t see you as flash in the pan.
