I'm 47; 48 this year. one of the things I love about ageing is being able to not only see history repeating, but being alive and experiencing those times and being part of the next cycle...stock market cycle, career cycle, relationship cycle...whatever cycle. I'll take the extra skin care treatments, the need to pay more attention to my diet and need to exercise (about to head to the gym) over stressed out plumped skinned youth that has little resilience but can seem to party all night...I like my 9:30pm bedtime. having excess money to invest now as we're mortgage free (and have also been maxing out our super contributions for a while now) and looking at life from a macro level, knowing everything is temporary is somehow every reassuring. possible future headline, 'IOU...the little red engined fintech that some thought never would; just did'!
