on the contrary I have dealt with well reputed (mid range) company in India for my business and also for the company I worked for. It was an awesome experience and they were brilliant. You must do some due diligent about the company before engaging and the contract should be solid to support you. However the dev companies locally hires Indians anyway. it is unfortunate you have dealt with bad ones in overseas.
You can not categorize the talent because it is cheaper/ which country etc... if there is a good management they know how to get s things done, it doesn't matter where , how and what.. Management is the Key.
on the contrary I have dealt with well reputed (mid range)...
