The important thing is that you learned from your mistake. I did that a few years ago, nothing silly but I had a set limit that I wanted to allocate from my portfolio to a particular company. I fell for the hype and went over my limit. I lost a lot of money in that situation and decided that I would always have a plan before hand and stick to it. When I bought IOU I didn't buy anymore even when it was taking off. I stuck to my plan and trimmed at the top. When something is raging like that, the last thing you want to do is sell but I'd rather that then over buy and ride it down.

This recent increase is very interesting the way it's got so much strength behind it seemingly for no reason. A wise person favors caution.
