Even though I am not much of a BRN optimist these days I expect if Akida flops they will still be able to drag it on past the next AGM, with window dressing and the mumbled promise that Akida 2 is the real deal - refined and enhanced to customer specs etc etc and 1 was really just a testbed to prove the ideas as an ASIC (though they could not really admit it at the time zzzz) , there are already appears to be evidence that some people regard Akida 1 as an overly cautious implementation.
Even though I am not much of a BRN optimist these days I expect...
