Today we had 12.65M shares traded ( about 10% of shares shorted). I wonder how much of that was trader churn. Is there a way of finding the actual change in shareholding day to day.
eg If trader A sells 10 shares to Trader B and Trader B sells those shares to Trader C and then Trader A buys the shares back that makes 40 shares traded, but zero change of ownership. If I wanted to buy more than 10 shares I would need to find someone else to buy the shares from.
I am sure there is a proper way of saying this, but I am curious about who is going to sell the shorters more than 7% of BRN's shares.
