I understand the directors have said that they are prepared to sell down their share holding to bring in a cashed up investor to fund the Pearls, but how will that work exactly? The directors own those shares, so if they sell them to a new investor wouldn't the directors (not SAS) get that money. So, how does that help SAS? Do the directors then lend those funds to SAS - at whatever rate? Surely, they wouldn't just hand over the proceeds from the sale of their shares to run SAS. There has to be a catch to this method of providing funding for the SAS operations.
