I'm still getting my head around these technologies and their differences.

I realised that 4DS is determining to achieve a less volatile DRAM (and both are working toward ReRam), but when are they expecting to achieve this? with WBT and 50yrs proven technology (though simple) its cost-effective and mass production capability appear more applicable to meet large demand, especially when with IOT and EV roll out in full force.
(In no way am I dissing 4DS nor am I promoting WBT).

I don't think that is Cardano's whitepaper. I believe they are looking at a new type of decentralising blockchain (strong team though).

Cloud storage is not decentralised but with decentralise blockchain, every smart device can play a part in storage (IOTA or Golem) and therefore no building require at all but mass production capability is imperative.
