used to think what Mr AMD could do with memory that could handle the heat of weebit. Still cant wait to see what he comes up with one day.
Was not much action on HC either still the guys like @taffyjuke and @Elt0n and a few loyal posters kept me going finding articles, Some have dropped off often think of @soulman if he brought back in. And Huge Grant stupid face. Liz Hurley's tits was much more pleasing.
But even with all the shares brought before consolidation was carrying a 60% loss for years, which is now well and truly green. Taught me allot about timelines and timing to get into a stock..
Remember @8horse giving me a lesson on oppies, I could not get it through my head paying an extra 17 cents to convert the oppies so kept buying the heads at 24 to 28 cents, Paul Hogan would be saying Thickhead Thickhead Fatman.
when I should have taken 8horses advice and put it all into the oppies, But in the LT my percentage per pip is greater not having had to stump up the 45 cents. At 24 cents it seemed the right thing to do at the time. Not in my wildest dreams have I ever seen oppies fly past the strike rate as fast a weebit did. Long term my compounding percentage gains work out well at around 30 to 32 cents if I was not free carring, But keep that figure in my head just to stir the day traders up making 200% in a day on my original investment
@Surfguy has the right idea about compounding gains. Been one hell of a journey from 2016 to now. Especially the rivalries between 4DS and Weebit when they got Western digital subsidiary onboard
weebit was definitely the black sheep.

In 2018 when I started buying WBT I did not realise that there were Oppies, but was lucky enough to get all of my shares between 2.5 and 3.5, so with the 1:25 consolidation I am still happy with my lot as I have more than doubled my SMSF over the past 7 months just off of them
