Yes "we" are in agreement as to what various faiths have done, However, I'm not sure you know the exact extent and it would be my wish, that you really listen.

Once you grasp, that in short we are Words, children words = war of words, then start thinking, computers, kids barely walking have these gadgets, phones = worshiping them = who and what?????????
Our bodies are effectively our computer housing.

God's name WORD = THINK, how many nice words do you know = OUR GOD = HUGE and so, so simple, CHILDREN.

Theists often preach to non-theists to take bible passages in context.
It's a pity that they don't listen to their own advice.

The context of the Book of Revelation is that it addressed people who were under preclusion from the Roman authorities who would have understood the codes in the book. They had no knowledge of the UN, the USA, China, Russia etc of the 21 century never mind having an interest in them.

If there is a message for people in the 21 century it is that persecutors have a limited life span - this has been demonstrated throughout history.
