Like TL, I’m looking forward to the launch of GNC’s TPM firming cream. But I am also wondering how a negative impact on BodyShaper US sales might be avoided, especially if GNC’s product is priced well below BodyShaper’s $50 US price point.

However it has occurred to me that the GNC product hasn’t actually been described as an anti-cellulite cream and perhaps the answer lies there. Is it possible that the GNC firming cream is not designed to fight cellulite? That possibility set me researching and I found that there are many firming creams on the market for problems other than cellulite, and designed for both men and women. The following are some of my more entertaining finds.



Bliss Thinny Thin Chin™ Neck Firming Cream

What a name! What a description! “Like a liquid bra, Thinny Thin Chin will help overhaul your overhang by firming, hydrating, and improving the appearance of neck lines, crepiness, and hyper-pigmentation. It is every beautiful face's 'neck-cessity". Yes, there’s an independent clinical study and it reported that 76.2% of testers felt that the skin on their necks was more toned.

Cellfit Bust Firming Cream

I never realized just how many bust firming creams there are on the market. Suffice to say, many. Reviews are few, but I was impressed by this positive feedback from Michelle B. from the USA.

I’m assuming that Tummy Tuck is a unisex product. Applied twice daily, it is promised that you will see scientifically proven results in 8 weeks. It is claimed that the product “improves the appearance of stubborn fatty deposits when applied to the abdominal area”. The product contains GemmoSlim which is said to stimulate lipolytic activity, thus working to re-shape the abdomen and reduce the overall circumference. Tummy Tuck also contains peptides “to help encourage the reduction of fat storage”.

Definitely not recommended for footballers of any code, I suspect.

This product, designed especially for men, “helps combat those wretched, unwelcomed curves commonly known as love handles.” Complex amino acids are said to slow fat storage, sunflower and Cangzhu root extracts are included to stimulate the body’s fat releasing mechanisms, and bocoa extract is said to increase collagen production. Dhealthstore Butt Firming and Toning Cream

Another unisex firming product. Said to be all-natural and safe, this cream claims to stimulate new growth in the cells of muscle and tissue in the buttocks area for women (and men).

The manufacturers claim that if you use the cream for 6 months, you’ll see an increase in butt size of up to 25-28%. I suspect that this cream might be popular with more guys than girls.

Exactly how this works for women wanting to attract men I’m still trying to figure out.

18 Again is described as a “femininity restoring” gel that has been “recommended by experts and approved by Health Regulatory Authorities in various Countries.” Specifically which “Health Regulatory Authorities” and which ‘Countries” is not revealed.

A key advertised ingredient of 18 Again is gold, which should hearten struggling gold stock holders such as Bumpkin. “The softest of all metals, gold is a natural product. When applied to the vaginal walls, it influences the walls at a cellular level, giving them new energy, defies ageing related changes and provides rejuvenation.”

Wow! But turning 18 again doesn’t come cheaply...
