I’m sorry to see tempers fraying in the spl group. It can be a trying time of year, made all the more trying by watching our sp go down the toilet when we’ve had such great news.

I think it is a good idea that we are conscious of the fact that our announcement made the top few posts in a HotCopper and will have come to the attention of a whole new investor group.
I’m both anti ramping and anti trash talking. I do like to see research and informed views. I’m grateful for all the information and thoughts you all share and it keeps my spirits up on our darker days.

Trump is backing out of Syria, shutting down the government, fighting with China and interest rates have risen in the US. There are so many headwinds in the market that I think some of these adverse factors will need to go before the market and spl can recover.

I hope the FDA can squeeze in a Christmas present for us on Monday, otherwise perhaps it will come at a less gloomy time in the market.

For all the number crunching about vivagel in the US, if even 5% of the affected women (41m) buy a tube and spl gets even AUD10, that’s still $20m onto our p&l as well as the FDA milestone. It’s still significant revenue, and I expect we will do much much better than that. My secret hope is that the conjunctivitis solution will be one of those drugs that is licenced at proof of concept stage and for that to occur in Q1. I’m allowed to hope!

Merry Christmas all, keep the faith and be kind to each other. We’ve had worse times than this, and 2019 will surely be our year.
