How do you take shares out of circulation, if they are not cancelled?

Under that scenario, EPS doesn't change.

If a company buys its own shares on market and then cancels those shares, EPS rises (but cash falls).

Also, there is nothing preventing a company issuing new shares an an acquisition scenario.

I just can't see how OZL as a company is worth 50% (or there abouts) more under your proposal.

I'm no expert, but I'm sure I'm not minunderstanding this.
