Past Value Reference: 2007 Independent Valuation ? A$53.35million
�� In May 2007, NFC commissioned a third party valuation report as part of its acquisition of 51% interest
in SARCO1. The report valued the project at 336,084,900 Yuan. It equaled A$53.35million using then
exchange rate of 6.3Yuan for 1AUD. Current exchange rate is 6.20 (source Bloomberg).

This report was completed before JORC resource was confirmed (130million tons2) and major positive
developments in 2009 and 2010 including JV agreement with LSI, acquisition of 35% interest in Yuqida
and commencement of feasibility study.
