What happened with the HFC network is they had to scrap the Optus part because it was no good.
They put a halt to rolling out NBN on Telstra's HFC network due to incompatibilities with.
They delayed connections until they went through and upgraded the lines and put in new connection boxes and other gear.
They stopped the copper rollout and redid what they had already done extending out fibre instead.
The delays gave their competitors a head start so now they are behind where they could have been with profitability.
