The bottom line is that without Telstra the NBN is dead in the water and with Telstra the NBN will be very different to the service foreshadowed for the NBN at this time, by Senator Conroy.
The ACCC is the Government's get out of jail card, so they think, they still will not accept that you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
Who in their right mind would employ any of this lot to run a business for them or to set up a business model. No cost benefit study, no credible business case, no risk analysis, lets just throw $43 billion dollars, plus, into the air and see where it lands. Take advice from your mates who are in competition with Telstra. Unbelievable.
Certainly IMO no-one in the future will want to buy NBN shares from a Government float, if they take into account this debacle.
