Simplistically, probably a good idea.
However, since we are talking about an energy transition to sustainable energy on this thread, I do not see the relevance, unless it was to be used as an excuse to continue burning fossil fuels, in which case it would be greenwashing.
Re-forrestation without using it for carbon credits??? ... all for it!!!
