”people trading the charts”. What else is there to take into consideration? Of course TA traders are going to use charts for their entries and exits.
Charting is a factual record of the current price action and from that action using certain indicators a chartist can predict momentum and direction in the short term. From that, profitable entries and more importantly exits can be determined. Of course things change or the chartist may misread an indication but on a far better than average scale it works very nicely.
