An excellent post.

Its the first time I've heard someone say, its good practice to chart other stocks, as there is no bias. Great advice, bias can be a problem. indicator are simplistic. Trendlines more subjective. If the weekly is no good, do the daily lol. You need rules; indicators that confirm each other.

The same is with analysis. Looking around for new food on the asx, and you see a co and think 'jeez, you'd have to be nutter to go into this'. It is rather satisfying to keep a track of these DUDs in a watchlist, and thus validating your analysis over time. Out of respect for other posters/stocks I won't post these as there is no need to dig the knife in.
