This suggests they already have toll processing partners potentially lined up and end users as seen in the LOI’s lined up to take significant numbers in terms of wet processed product. This product sells for AU$700>AA$1000 so potentially we are looking at some very good profit margins. At at the site visit i attended i asked James roughly what price would a toll processor charge per tonne for wet processing and he gave rough ball park figures of $50. Throw in DSO costs to the toll processor and profit numbers look very nice.
@wombat777 in post 40597547 estimated DSO kaolin/halloysite at AU$115-140/t and wet refined kaolin/halloysite at AU$700/1000/t. Even allowing for DSO shipping and waste losses there seems to be a disconnect with the Megagene/JM toll estimate of AU$50/t quoted above.
Anyone able to throw some light here?
