Very interesting. This seems to be clay hosted REE mineralisation. By itself this is uneconomic you would think given the difficulty in separating REEs from clay and the depth of overburden. Perhaps it is amenable to in situ leaching...perhaps..
Certainly that seems to be the case at Boland BUT where the REEs are associated with permeable sands. (These sands are part of an old river system which then crosses ADN leases for about 20 kilometres - as can be seen in GKs posted maps above).
Plenty of room for a westerly extension of Boland or multiple other deposit sites.
