ADN - the sleeping (but awakening) Halloysite / Kaolin & HPA Monster

Poochera is a Tier 1 and World-class kaolin-halloysite asset and once developed will be able to supply high quality and importantly high purity ores, concentrates and feedstock for a wide range of high-tech and industrial applications including for future 4N and 5N HPA production.

Exploration targets at Poochera are for more than 23 times the current resource of 23.9Mt Kaolinised Granite. Read on, but some background first ...

Suitable applications for Halloysite Kaolin are below. The quality, purity and size of ADN's resources allows them to pursue all of these markets.




Background:

• The Poochera Project is a JV where ADN will earn-in up to 75% of the project from MEP (see ADN 26 April 2018 announcement https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20180426/pdf/43th4sw97cfgr7.pdf  )
• MEP were actively working the project between 2008 and 2014. At end of 2014 they were seeking a partner and eventually in 2018 ADN have taken on the project under a JV.
• MD James Marsh was specifically head-hunted to take the helm of ADN and has a background working on the Poochera project. He is an industrial chemist and industrial minerals specialist and has a significant business development background associated with Kaolin sales and production.
• The currently mineral resource at the Carey's Well Deposit is 23.9Mt of Kaolinised Granite
• Historic exploration targets of 570 to 810 mt are for a minimum of 23 times the current resource

The combination of grade and purity, as well as the scale of the resource just at Poochera certainly give ADN the potential to be a future TO target, notwithstanding their other JVs ( various gold and gold-copper projects, one of which is with Evolution Mining - EVN - see 2018 announcement ).




Andromeda in October 2018, applied for exploration licenses for another Halloysite-Kaolin deposit at Mt Hope. Quality is reportedly similar to the deposits at the Poochera Project. Once exploration licenses are achieved, this will be a 100%-owned project.
