you can also sell some options to pay for the conversion of the remaining options.
many ways to skin that oppies cat... if they're in the money.
the biggest difference between heads and options is risk... and with greater risk comes greater rewards... and greater losses... including the possibility of losing it all at the stroke of midnight on expiry date.
for the record i'm in both heads and oppies for ADN... the long expiry makes it a no brainer for me.
but i have been burnt in oppies before... so for the oppie newbies out there... happy oppie trading, but trade safe.
