Be prepared to be disappointed at the prospects of a big pre-AGM announcement. Jackie Fairley and Rob Thomas have form.

Way back in 2016 the very day BEFORE the AGM, Starpharma announced the signing of a VivaGel condom deal in Iran with Koushan Pharmed. This was supposedly such a big deal (quite coincidentally the day before the AGM) that it was marked as ‘Price Sensitive’ to the ASX and then, specifically mentioned in the Chairman’s opening address at the AGM.

Since then we’ve heard ZERO about Iran. There has been NO announcement in SIX years since to confirm that the VivaGel condom ever gained registration in Iran let alone a single sale.

I wrote to Starpharma investor relations on 3 occasions to clarify these matters including whether or not the partnership still exists but I have received no response so far.

This appears to be yet another ‘development’ which disappears into the past with no update or clarification.
