Ahh, this is bad.
I am pretty sure you can place "stop" and "trailing stop" when you place an order.
also, after placing, you can go in positions and alter the stop.
I am still learning IG but I am starting to believe it's easier once you get the hold of it.
with commsec viewpoint, it takes me atleast 30-40 seconds to place a conditional order because the pages take ages to load.
Opening and closing position is way easier with IG.
Not sure though what happened with your buy getting blocked.
My IG got activated yesterday so still in the learning phase. Have been trading in the demo account to get hold of the platform.
