Thanks @shovel40, @Fiji1 and morning crew.

    Half-time wrap:

The ASX 200 cracked 7800 for the first time in almost four weeks before trimming a fifth day of gains.

The Australian benchmark reached mid-session a single point or 0.01% ahead at 7794 after earlier adding as much as 22 points.

The index traded as high as 7815 as industrials, energy producers and tech stocks rallied. The heavily-weighted material and financial sectors were among the morning's drags.

Wall Street lost some momentum overnight following several days of strong gains. The S&P 500 edged up 0.13%. The Nasdaq dipped 0.1%.

Personal trading: Hands up if you glanced at OSX as it traded near 4c and instead of buying moved on to look at something that didn't offer the chance to triple your money in 20 minutes? Ouch. I generally don't waste much time fretting about missed trades, but that one burns... Gave myself a "There there" with a couple of pips from CYM off the low.
