I agree, it's easy to sit and look, not so good in a very short time being the bloke in the left front seat. If the gear was up, the nose wheel
would have been neatly tucked up in the bottom of the hull with the doors closed under it. From the photo of the expressway, it would appear that the bottom half of the leg and the scissor link has been totally ripped out. That would happen if it contacted something firm whilst extended.
