I am kinda of new to world of investments and valuation of companies based on current profit/earnings projections. How does one values a company such as AGL which is subjected to new technologies in power generation and emission levies. As one of the leaders in their industries, AGL have a projection like current, what does it spell for other smaller players? Should they not more or less have similar trends? Just a thought (Bigger the boat sails better in choppy waters)
