I must admit, I was a little surprised that COE didn't come up with anything from the North Sea permit round.

Like you, I have considered the merits of COE farming into NDO's permits, but investigations have so far failed to come up with any possible links...so my gut feeling, is COE might be more likely to farm into EXR's permits, rather than the relatively limited NDO acreage.

But then again, being the media sluts they are, COE might prefer to enter into any JV arrangements only after drill targets have been established and the "sexy" stuff can begin...in which case we could end up with a three way JV between, NWE, NDO and COE.

By the way, can you see the logic in announcing a "Joint Partnership Agreement", yet only announcing a JV arrangement in one of their permits?

I think NDO are being very clever with their announcements!

It appears to me they always leave room for follow up details...in effect, geeting two bangs for their buck on each announcement!
