You also need the economy doing well and a friendly tax and business environment in order to suck up the workers. This could happen, but no one in politics has an appetite for real reform. It kills their pensions and vote risk increases. The truth is, its too hard for anyone to fix, so it wont ever be fixed even when Bob Hawke wanted it gone. He was a true progressive as opposed to the impostors of the left today. They want more govt, higher wages for less work and business is a milking cow. This shows us how stupid and naive they really are. They cant even work out where the income comes from. Can't fix stupid, but people need to smarten up about which crooks they vote for.

And your belief that public servants don't contribute to wealth creation is of course complete nonsense.
