@MirCat mostly by the older folk. I used to get a phonecall from my really lovely cousin, but now old and grumpy - had to pay alimony to a wife for life, who left him, produced one son, who was dependant on state and him all his life. Grumpy about migrants who come to Germany and get everything given - that was his constant refrain. I was sad that he got so cranky in his old age. He was himself a migrant - from Austria. .
They did have a low birth rate and no-one will be able to get the pensions, this generation is still getting, Of course, it may not work out, as I think the human flood from Africa will continue, unless the world grows a conscience and some sense and tries to work out what to do with all these climate and economic migrants.
The wealthy of the world could be of some help - just saying, not really believing it . . . they rather hide in anonymity in far away places
